How to Verify Your Credentials
Prove your qualifications and stand out
In a competitive job market, verified credentials give you an edge. Our Credential Verification system lets you get your certifications, education, and work experience verified — giving employers confidence that your qualifications are real.
Step-by-Step Guide
Open Credential Verification
Navigate to 'Credentials' in the sidebar. This feature is available to Pro and Partner subscribers.
Add a credential to verify
Click 'Add Credential' and choose the type: certification, education, or work experience. Fill in the details like institution name, dates, and credential ID if applicable.
Provide supporting evidence
Upload documentation that supports your credential — a certificate image, diploma scan, or employment verification letter. The more evidence you provide, the faster the verification.
Submit for review
Submit your credential for verification. Our system cross-references the information with available databases and records. Some verifications are instant, others may take 1-3 business days.
Check verification status
Track the status of each credential in your dashboard. Statuses include: Pending, Under Review, Verified, and Needs More Information.
Share your verified profile
Once verified, your credentials display a verification badge. You can share your verified profile link with employers to prove your qualifications.
Pro Tips
- ✓Start with your most relevant credentials first — the ones that directly relate to your target job.
- ✓Keep digital copies of all your certificates and diplomas for quick verification.
- ✓Industry certifications (AWS, PMP, CPA, etc.) are often the easiest to verify since they have searchable databases.
- ✓If a credential can't be automatically verified, you may be asked to provide additional documentation.
- ✓Verified credentials are especially valuable for remote positions where employers can't easily check backgrounds.
